Use It With
In the Safari Die Series, the sizing die sizes the case and de-primes it, while the expander die expands the case to the proper diameter to accept the bullet and imparts a case mouth flare or bell for easier bullet feeding. The seater die is used to seat the bullet at the proper depth and provides a roll crimp for secure bullet retention, making it ideal for use with dangerous game and other high-pressure hunting rounds.
The .500 Jeffery and .505 Gibbs cartridges are made on 1-inch die bodies, and require a press adapter bushing (not included). It is important to note that cases must be lubricated before using the Safari Die Series.
Note: The Rock Chucker® Supreme Press comes standard with a 1-1/4-inch-12 to 7/8-inch-14 press bushing adapter.
